one more online presentation, because radio AGN rock!

Just gave my talk at the 15th international meeting of the Hellenic Astronomical Society which is held online due to the covid-19 pandemic. I would have loved to be in Patras, Greece, to attend the meeting in person, and discuss and interact with the meeting’s participants! So I’m really looking forward to the next one in 2 years!

I presented analysis on the complex radio structure of extended radio active galactic nuclei (AGN) from the study of Vardoulaki et al. 2021 and parametrise the degree of distortion by measuring the bent angle: the angle formed between the lobes/jets. We compare this bent angle to large-scale environmental probes in COSMOS (X-ray galaxy groups, density fields, cosmic web) probing environments from several Kpc to several Mpc.
